Poppies on Metal

At the last Stamperama show Chris McMillan taught a class about stamping onto metal foil.
You need to stamp with a permanent ink like Stazon and then fill the back of the metal to stop it flattening.
Pinflair Glue Gel is a really good product to use for this.

Mini Frames

At the time of typing this blog post we had sold out of the small Gingerbread man
but he will be back in stock soon.
The mini frames are from the Frame Trio set, but these are not just for Christmas,
they are also perfect for other occasions.
The small candle is from the Festive Trio set and the adorable little Robin is from Winter Wonderland
as is the sentiment.
The green border stamp is from the Design A Tree set.

Most of these stamps and the card were designed by Lesley Crawford.

Sleigh full of presents

I had to look up the difference between a sleigh and a sledge/sled.
I thought a sleigh was a larger vehicle that was pulled by reindeer/horses, like the one Santa rides in!
And that a sledge/sled was the wooden or plastic ones we used as kids to ride on down the snowy hillside.
I was wrong
Apparently there is no difference, we just use different words in different parts of the world.
Lesson over for today.

This Sleigh was designed by Lesley Crawford.

We will also be making Christmas cards in our monthly Project Club from September onwards.
